“Dos Croquetas” is better than one

After almost one year from it’s grand opening, Miami’s famous Croqueta Bar continue’s to drive in costumers with their favorite craft croquetas paired with an ice cold beer or a delicious fruity pebble shake.

After three successful years as a pop up location in Doral, Dos Croquetas® is serving up Miami’s favorite croquetas seven days a week from their very own brick and mortar location.

From the art on its walls, to its golden finishes, customers should expect nothing less than an upscale experience while enjoying the comfort these signature croquetas bring.

“We wanted to do something different,” explains founder Alec Fernandez.

“We firmly believe that walking into the Croqueta Bar should feel like something you can’t get anywhere else, and I think we created just
that with this new location.”

Aside from offering their crowd-pleasing croquetas, Dos Croquetas has partnered with some of South Florida’s favorite breweries to serve up an experience unlike any other at the Croqueta Bar.

Beers on tap include: Lincoln’s Beard Brewing Co., The Tank Brewing, Concrete Beach Brewery, and for the first time — a Dos Croquetas original, with the help of MIA Beer Company, DAME DOS ALE — created to perfectly pair with their signature croquetas.

Dos Croquetas is a concept that Alec Fernandez came up with after countless visits to a place any true Miamian will be quite familiar with — la ventanita.

After noticing that the top request at each ventanita was “dame dos croquetas,” Alec knew that there was potential there.

Partnering with his aunt, Chef Vicky Carballo, the duo is happy to say that they have bridged the gap between upscale dining and the classic Cuban bakery, giving Miami a true craft croqueta.

Flavors ranging from the 305, which features Cuban style picadillo, sweet plantains, and queso blanco, to Mac ’n’ Cheese and Bacon, Mexican Street Corn, Buffalo Crack Chicken and even dessert croquetas like the Oreo or Guava, the brand offers more than your average croqueta de jamón.

All of these flavors, and new ones to debut, will be available for purchase at the new location where they can be enjoyed at a sit down dining destination.

“It’s been a humbling experience to say the least,” says Chef Vicky Carballo.

“The South Florida community has really embraced us and our concept and we couldn’t be more excited to keep moving forward and creating new flavors, concepts, and ideas.”

Dos Croquetas Croqueta Bar is located at 10505 SW 40th Street.
